A page turning device designed specifically to turn a limited number of pages back and forth. The pages are manually preloaded between strips of material (13) mounted on mechanical arms (6). Activation of a switch (9) causes the mechanical arms (6) to rotate and turn the pages. Subsequent activation of the switch (9) causes the arms (6) to rotate in the opposite direction and thereby turn the pages back again. A number of mechanical arms may be combined to turn various combinations of pages back and forth. Alternatively, a single mechanical arm may be used to turn a single page back and forth in an alternating fashion. A typical application is to aid musicians to play their instruments and, without having to use their hands, turn the pages of a musical score.
