A coextrusion die includes a plurality of annular cells (210) stacked on top of each other. Each annular cell (210) includes a plurality of openings aligned with openings in the adjacent cell, thus forming multipl e streams. Plastic melt may be supplied to the die coplanarly. Stacks of annular disks (212, 214, 216, 218) may be joined to form the annul ar cells (210) through which plastic melt can be axially directed.
