It is intended to provide a support showing a high immobilization efficiency on which a physiologically active substance can be immobilized at a high density; a method of efficiently analyzing a biological component by using the immobilization support; and a kit for the analysis. A support for immobilizing a physiologically active substance which comprises a support having a carbon, metallic or a semi-metallic carbon compound layer carrying the physiologically active substance formed on the surface thereof; a process for producing the support for immobilizing a physiologically active substance characterized by bringing a support having a carbon, metallic or a semi-metallic carbon compound layer having functional group into contact with the physiologically active substance; a method of analyzing a component in a sample by using the support: and a kit for analyzing a component in a sample which contains the above support. |
