The cartridge has a cylindrical fixed tube (10) comprising two diametrically opposite openings (11, 12) that are in communication with hot and cold water inlet conduits (11a, 12a), respectively. A movable tube (13) comprising an opening (14) is placed within the tube (10), where the opening (14) is placed in correspondence with the openings (11, 12) in order to permit, control and stop flow of hot and cold water.
