摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out transmission control without lowering responsiveness by considering elongation/shrinkage of a driving belt. SOLUTION: This continuously variable transmission has a primary pulley provided in an input shaft, a secondary pulley provided in an output shaft and the driving belt stretched to be wrapped around both the pulleys. A transmission control device for the continuously variable transmission sets an upper limit value Imax and a lower limit value Imin of target speed ratio by referring an upper limit map and a lower limit map on the basis of degree of the input torque input to an input shaft. With this structure, target speed ratio can be set in the low-drive condition and the over-drive condition by considering elongation of the driving belt, and the target speed ratio can be made to coincide with the real speed ratio. Unnecessary feedback control based on a deviation between the target speed ratio and the real speed ratio can be restricted to improve responsiveness when carrying out transmission control.
