PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hitting apparatus in an impact crusher capable of suppressing consumption of waste power by unevenly installing hitting plates on a rotor and epoch-makingly enhancing a crushing throughput (production amount) by performing efficient crushing. SOLUTION: In the impact crusher, a rotor disc 3 attached with a plurality of hitting plates 2, 2' is provided in a machine box and a plurality of rebounding plates 5, 5', 5'' corresponding to the hitting plates 2, 2' are provided in an upper lid 4. The hitting plates 2, 2' are unevenly attached to an outer periphery of the rotor disc 3 and at a point symmetry position making rotation center as a center. In the hitting apparatus in the impact crusher, level difference of the uneven hitting plates 2, 2' is smaller or approximately same as height of the hitting surface 2'' of the hitting plates 2, 2'.
