PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging apparatus in which the quality of an image does not deteriorate and performance of signal versus noise does not deteriorate even if clutter removing performance is improved, and an ultrasonic imaging system. SOLUTION: One of two or more candidate system configurations of the ultrasonic imaging system for imaging the subject can be chosen based on measuring at least one performance characteristic of two or more candidate system configurations at least partially using a controller, and measuring is at least partially based on one or more signals received by an ultrasonic transducer.
