PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of securing a field of view for observation of each observation optical system by efficiently removing filth, etc. attached to the outer surface of the observation optical system disposed on the end surface of a distal end. SOLUTION: The insertion tube for the endoscope and the endoscope have the distal end at the distal end portion to be inserted into the body cavity. The insertion tube for the endoscope has a plurality of observation windows disposed at the distal end for guiding incident light to a plurality of imaging means, and a gas/water feeding means for spouting gas or liquid toward the observation windows. In the distal end face, the outer surface of the observation windows and the outer surface of the distal end between the observation windows are formed on the same flat plane in the direction of spouting of the gas/water feeding means.
