The device has a retainer e.g. retainer ring (H), for arrangement of an acoustic audio recorder (M) within clamping tires (SPR) of a percussion instrument. The retainer ring is integrated within the clamping tires of the instrument. The ring is arranged in a recess within the clamping tires and is firmly connected to the clamping tires. The ring is bridged with a clip (S) which bridges the recess within the clamping tires. An independent claim is also included for a percussion instrument with an audio recorder attaching device.
