PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the inconvenience in the style of utilizing a ring-back tone, while utilizing a so-called number display function. SOLUTION: A facsimile machine sounds a ring-back tone in the case of calling from an arbitrary calling source, displays an identification number acquired as notification information regarding the calling source, and comprises an EEPROM storing various kinds of data, including the identification number. A CPU discriminates whether an identification number obtained in calling from a specific calling source matches a specific number set and registered in the EEPROM (S38), and if the identification number matches the specific number (S38:YES), sounding of the ring-back tone is delayed (S40).
