PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF transmitter for efficiently compensating output power variation due to temperature and processes. SOLUTION: The RF transmitter includes: a modulating circuit adapted to modulate a digital signal to an RF signal to be transmitted; an output amplifier circuit adapted to amplify the modulated RF signal; a tuning voltage generation circuit for generating a tuning voltage that varies in accordance with temperature fluctuations and process variances; and a reference current generator adapted to control the amplitude of a basic band signal of modulating circuit in response to the tuning voltage. Especially in power compensation due to temperature fluctuations and process variances in the modulating circuit, a power load of the output amplifier circuit performed in an RF frequency band is reduced to greatly reduce overall power consumption.
