PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal device which improves precision at the time of determining that a call terminating-side communication terminal device (2) cannot connect to a communication network because being outside the service area or power-off. SOLUTION: When determining that the second communication terminal device (2) cannot connect to a communication network because being outside the service area or power-off, a first communication terminal device (1) intermittently transmits a call origination request to the second communication terminal device (2) to repeat transmission of the call origination request. When determining that the second communication terminal device (2) cannot connect to a communication network after intermittently transmitting the call origination request for an arbitrary period, the first communication terminal device (1) switches a speech mode to a mail mode and transmits a call termination history including its own telephone number to a call controller (10) by mail.
