PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for an electro-optical device capable of preventing a variation from occurring in display contrast by managing an inspector's visual angle to the electro-optical device in an inspection process of the electro-optical device such as a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The inspection device for the electro-optical device comprises a visual angle confirmation part 3 with which the inspector 10 confirms the visual angle, an electro-optical device mounting part 2 for mounting the liquid crystal display device 5, and a checker 6 for supplying an image signal for inspection to the liquid crystal display device 5 mounted on the electro-optical device mounting part 2. Relating to this inspection device for the electro-optical device, the visual angle of the inspector 10 to the liquid crystal display device 5 can always be kept constant by confirming the visual angle of the inspector 10 by using the visual angle confirmation part 3.
