PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of piles extremely simple in structure, facilitating joining and separation of pile bodies and positively transmitting large torque. SOLUTION: The joint structure of the piles comprises an inner joint pipe 1 joined to one pile, and an outer joint pipe 11 joined to the other pile and fitted to the inner joint pipe 1, and has means for transmitting compressive load or tensile load from the upper pile to the lower pile. A plurality of slits 8 opened to the end are provided in an axial direction of either one of the inner joint pipe 1 and outer joint pipe 11, and the other joint pipe is provided with a torque transmission part 20 fitted into the slit 8 when the outer joint pipe 11 is fitted to the inner joint pipe 1.
