The chute section for a conveyor chute has a bottom (4) connecting side walls (1) to form an upper run (2) and a lower run (3), and add-on components (5,6) for mining equipment on the working face side and on the packing side. The upper run and the lower run and the two-sided add-on components are constructed mirror-symmetrically with regard to a symmetry axis (S) extending horizontally through the bottom of the chute and by which with the chute section turned over the lower run assumes the function of the upper run and the upper run assumes the function of the lower run.
