<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of always supplying a developer with stable toner concentration without causing developer retension near a doctor and entrained developer retention and developer retention at both ends of a developing casing by crushing developer retension at locations of developer retension at both ends of the developing casing further, and also provide an image forming apparatus equipped therewith. <P>SOLUTION: The developing device is equipped with a developer carrier 2 comprising a developing sleeve 3a and a fixed magnet group functioning as a magnetic field generating means fixed and arranged inside the developing sleeve 3a, the doctor 6 functioning as a developer regulating member regulating the amount of the developer 1, and a 1st conveying screw 4 and a 2nd conveying screw 5 set in parallel with the developing sleeve 3a and conveying the developer 1 to the developing sleeve 3a. An elastic blade member 12 is arranged on the outer periphery part of the 1st conveying screw 4, and a repulsive projecting member 11 is added to the vicinity of the doctor 6, then the blade of the elastic blade member 12 is opened so as to vibrate after the elastic blade member 12 passes through the repulsive projecting member 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
