<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carburetor improving each performance of idling, running start, full speed, acceleration and deceleration and sending all fuel to an engine through a single nozzle. <P>SOLUTION: The carburetor is equipped with a body having an air intake passage and a fuel tank and with a cylinder. The cylinder includes a center shaft and a wall having a first opening. Fuel is flowed through the first opening to form air fuel mixture. The cylinder has a second opening separated from the first opening in the axial direction and makes fuel flow from the fuel tank to inside of the cylinder. A needle is slidably arranged inside the cylinder to adjustably limit the fuel flowing through the first opening. The first opening is a longitudinal slit penetrating through a wall of the cylinder. The wall of the cylinder is provided with an inner face which has a continuous inner edge partially forming the slit and with an outer face having a continuous outer edge. A fuel flow passage cross section forming the continuous outer edge is set larger than a fuel flow passage cross section forming the continuous inner edge. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
