<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector for wire harnesses which can electrically mutually connect a plurality of wires included in wire harnesses by a simple working with high reliability and without large-sizing it, and also can fix it stably on the outside surface of a wire harness body. <P>SOLUTION: A joint connector electrically connects connector terminals 10 which are held in housing bodies 20 as unit connectors through a flexible wiring material 30. An engaging stem 27 is fixed in each housing body 20, and electrical connecting portions between the connector terminals 10 and the conductor 31, 32 of the flexible wiring material 30 are protected from external force by inserting the engaging stem 10 into through-holes 37 formed in conductor 31 of the flexible wiring material 30. And each housing body 20 is wound around the relevant wire harness in such a manner as to be mounted on the the wire harness in a circumferential direction with the flexible wiring material 30 receiving bending deformation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
