ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT, AND POLYIMIDE USED FOR THE ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENCE ELEMENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE POLYIMIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence element including a polymer intermediate layer containing polyimide that is not dissolved in a solvent used in coating of a light-emitting substance, and easy in controlling thickness, and has capability of preventing entering of electrons and excitons from a light emitting layer into a hole transport layer; the polyimide used for the polymer intermediate layer; and a method of manufacturing the polyimide.

SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescence element includes a polymer intermediate layer containing polyimide having a triphenylamine derivative structure between a hole transport layer or a hole injection layer and a light emitting layer. The polyimide used for the polymer intermediate layer and the method of manufacturing the polyimide are also disclosed.
