<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system capable of obtaining a magnified tomographic image of higher image quality, as compared with conventionally magnified tomographic images due by means of magnification reconstruction. <P>SOLUTION: In the X-ray CT system, when a region C to be subjected to magnification photographing is designated on the display screen of the preliminarily photographed tomographic image of a subject, a turntable 3 is set to a position, where the minimum gap interposed between the subject W and an X-ray source 1 becomes a predetermined gap, when the turntable 3 is rotated, using the designated content, the shape and dimension of the subject W and the data, related to the position to a rotary axis R and the X-ray detector 2, are positioned so that the designated region in this state becomes a CT photographing region and CT photographing is performed in this state to obtain the magnified tomographic image high in spatial resolving power and density resolving power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
