PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference position recognition device in which mechanical damage incident to the execution of abutting control can be suppressed.
SOLUTION: In the reference position recognition device, an electric motor 5 is constituted of an electrically independent first system 22A (coils U1, V1 and W1) and a second system 22B (coils U2, V2 and W2). When abutting control is performed, only the coils U1, V1 and W1 of the first system 22A are conducted to generate rotary outputs from a rotor 11. Consequently, output torque from the electric motor 5 at the time of abutting control can be lowered as compared with that at the time of normal driving. Since a rotary output transmission system such as a detent spring, an engaging portion and the like can be protected surely against deformation or damage even if the number of execution times of abutting control is increased, durability and reliability can be enhanced.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
