PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor containing a naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative, an electrophotographic cartridge, an electrophotographic drum and an electrophotographic imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor contains an asymmetric naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative having a nitro group in a photosensitive layer or an intermediate layer. The electrophotographic cartridge, electrophotographic drum and electrophotographic imaging apparatus are also provided. Since the asymmetric naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide derivative has excellent electron transporting ability as well as solubility in an organic solvent and compatibility with a binder resin, the electrophotographic photoreceptor manufactured using the derivative has an excellent electrostatic property.
