PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dish moving device capable of rapidly moving a plurality of dishes discharged, in a stacked state, from the discharge part of a dish washing device stably to the carrying passage of a dish carrying device. SOLUTION: This dish moving device 1 comprises first dish moving means 11, 14, and 15 having a holding means 15 holding dishes 2, a first lifting means 14 vertically moving the holding means 15, and a first horizontally moving means 11 horizontally moving the holding means 15 and moving the dishes 2 discharged to the discharge part 7 of the dish washing device 3 and second dish moving means 19 and 21 having a pressing means 21 capable of pressing the dishes 2 and a second horizontally moving means 19 horizontally moving the pressing means 21 and slidably moving the dishes 2 moved to a slide surface 18 by the first dish moving means 11, 14, and 15 to the carrying route 9.
