PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an outer scuff plate with high quality feeling to improve the appearance of the outer scuff plate. SOLUTION: Stud pins 2a and 2c are provided on each of at least rear faces of both end parts of the longitudinal direction of the outer scuff plate 1 made of a belt-shaped aluminum plate. The stud pins 2a and 2c are fixed to a body, etc. of the vehicle via resin clips 3a and 3c. The resin clip 3a is pointed on the outer scruff plate 1 side and is made as a reference resin clip to regulate the positions of the longitudinal direction and width direction of the outer scuff plate 1.
