The invention relates to a coupling comprising a receiving part (1), a fixing part (9), an insertion part (17), and blocking elements (6, 13'), the engagement of said blocking elements, which prevents a movement of the fixing part (9) from a withdrawn position into an inserted position, being released by the axial displacement of locking arms (13) of the fixing part (9) by means of the effect of a holding ring (22) when the insertion part (17) is introduced, such that when the insertion part (17) is correctly arranged in a receiving region (16) of the receiving part (1), the fixing part (9) can be placed in the inserted position in which the insertion part (17) is fixed. In this way, a relatively simple constructive influence of the assembly force, high wear resistance, and a simple and operationally reliable handling of the inventive coupling are obtained when the connection between the receiving part and the insertion part is released, especially when the amount of space available is limited.
