The component has a connecting nut (2) and a wire retaining and guiding part (3), where conductors of individual wires of a cable contacts with contact units arranged in a connecting body, during screwing of the nut (2) on the body. An angled cable guiding part (4), with a connecting area working together with the nut (2) and the part (3), is provided. The part (4) includes a strain relief and sealing area pressed by another nut (5). An independent claim is also included for a cable connection device for electrical connection of an electrical cable to an electrical device.
