FIELD: metallurgy, namely processes and equipment for continuous casting of ingots. ^ SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes housing having ducts for supplying water and air. Mixing chamber is arranged in housing in parallel to air supply duct. Air supply chamber is provided with nozzle for feeding mixture onto ingot. Water supply duct has outlet portion normal relative to axis of mixing chamber. Distributing nozzle is mounted between mixing chamber and air-supply duct with possibility of motion along axis of mixing chamber. In body of nozzle there is outlet passage coaxial to axis of mixing chamber. ^ EFFECT: enhanced quality of ingot, gradual process of cooling it. ^ 3 cl, 2 dwg |
