<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method for making it impossible to use a forged document formed, based on image data contained in a specified image that is included in a copying prohibited objects such as bills, securities and checks. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of performing printing processing, an equipment control part 8 successively reads out the image data from an HD 12, temporarily stores it to a memory 6a and then transfers it to a printing part 6b, and also it transfers the image data stored in the memory 6a to a discrimination part 16. The equipment control part 8 transfers a pattern signal stored in the HD 12 to the discrimination part 16 so as to make the discrimination part 16 discriminate whether or not the image data transferred from the memory 6a is the copying prohibited object. When judging that the image data being a printing processing object is the copying prohibited object, a filing hole is made at the predetermined spot of conveyed paper on which the image has been formed by the printing part 6b by a punching unit 7a or the paper is stapled by a stapling unit 7b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
