<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can carry out appropriate dealing in the case where a paper feeding tray capable of completely satisfying a requested condition is not present, and to provide a printing request processing method and a printing request processing program. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus which carries out printing processing according to a printing request includes a printing request receiving means which receives the printing request, a setting value acquiring means which acquires a setting value to each item related to the printing processing in the image forming apparatus, a comparing means which decides a coincidence or a disagreement between a designation value related to each item included in the printing request and the setting value, and a recovery process deciding means which decides a recovery process to be carried out among a plurality of recovery processes according to both decided result by the comparing means and recovery process definition information in which recovery processes are defined for each item. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
