SOLUTION: The control part 12 of a digital camera 12 comprises: a print order information obtaining function functioning as a print order apparatus for placing a print order and obtaining print order information; a print transmission completion time information obtaining function for completing print and obtaining print transmission completion time information showing a time (print transmission completion time) by which transmission of image data has to be completed; an image data quantity control function for controlling the data quantity of picture data so that the transmission of the image data can be completed by the time print transmission is completed; and a transmission control function for making an order receiving apparatus 40 transmit the image data and print order information whose data quantity is controlled and print order information through a network 60.
