INK COMPOSITION FOR INK-JET PRINTING AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for ink-jet printing having excellent storage characteristics such as dispersion stability of a pigment or jetting stability of an ink, printing characteristics such as quick-drying properties and water resistance of prints and various excellent long-term environmental durabilities of the prints in a water-based pigment jet ink.

SOLUTION: A water-based pigment liquid composition is characterized as follows. The composition consists essentially of three of (1) a pigment selected from the group consisting of carbon black and an organic pigment, (2) an aqueous dispersion medium and (3) one or more kinds of dispersing agents selected from the group of N-(sulfoxyphenyl)-3-hydroxy-2-naphthalenecarboxamides represented by general formula (1) and having specific substituents.
