<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor for generating print image data for a printer which carries out print processing by adjusting the light emission energy of each of a plurality of recording elements for preventing the picture quality from being deteriorated at the time of generating print image data by carrying out enlargement processing to interpolate pixel data. <P>SOLUTION: This image processor 1 is configured as an image processor which generates print image data for a printer which carries out print processing by adjusting the light emission energy of each of a plurality of recording elements, and provided with a means for selecting pixel data to be replaced from a plurality of pixel data included in input picture data based on the resolution of input image data and the resolution of the recording elements and a means for generating print image data by replacing the selected pixel data with a plurality of pixel data so that the total of the areas of the selected pixels can be made almost equal to the area of the pixels to be formed based on the originally selected pixel data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
