PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for use in the molding of an optical resin molded product which solves the problem of the complication of a device for applying compression to the resin injected in a cavity or the restriction of a compressed shape and can be utilized repeatedly. SOLUTION: The lens mold comprises a pair of a movable mold and a fixed mold. The movable mold is equipped with a movable mold sleeve and the movable mold insert which is housed in the movable mold sleeve and forms an optical surface, and the coefficient value of linear expansion of the material of the movable mold insert is not less than that of the material of the movable mold sleeve. A compression process can be introduced into this lens mold and an optical resin molded product of high quality uniform in its internal density and excellent in transfer properties can be stably obtained.
