PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the carrier mobility of an organic semiconductor layer formed by a coating method, to suppress the fluctuations in the characteristics of the thin film of the organic semiconductor layer at the time of repeated use (measurement) and to achieve the lowering of a threshold value and the enhancement of the film forming properties of the thin film of the organic semiconductor layer on a substrate. SOLUTION: After a solution containing an organic semiconductor material is supplied to the surface of a substrate, it is cooled to precipitate the organic semiconductor material on the surface of the substrate to form the organic semiconductor layer.
