PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manually operated suction cleaner, sucking dust on the floor surface without electric power in a simple structure. SOLUTION: A crankshaft held on a bearing part of a casing side part and provided with wheels fixed at both ends thereof is rotated with the rotation of the wheels on the floor surface. By the action of the crankshaft rotated with the rotation of the wheels, elastic bags housed in parallel in the casing are alternately compressed and expanded, and after the dust on the floor surface is sucked and stored in the dust storing part, the casing and the dust storing part are opened through hinges to throw away the dust to the outside. With a grip of a support bar fixed to the upside of the casing held in hands, the wheels coming into contact with the floor surface are rolled so that the rotation causes the crankshaft to compress the elastic bags in the casing alternately, thereby sucking the dust on the floor surface. A filter is provided on each of the tops of the elastic bags, a check valve is provided on each of the lower parts of the elastic bags, and further a check valve is provided in a suction opening of the dust storing part.
