A foam rubber sleeve is positioned around the lower legs, ankles and heels of a bedridden patient to protect the patient's skin from bed sores. The sleeve panels are transposed to leave the heels clear of surface contact. The foam rubber sleeve is body profile-conformal. The sleeve is secured by a hook and loop fixture.
