The device has a housing for measuring instruments with a current supply and probes collecting a magnetic field. The base of the housing (1) is connected to a headlight by an opening (5) having a reflected beam angle which is provided for illuminating the underground (3) of a route. The headlight is provided over a baseplate for connection with the housing. The baseplate is mounted over corresponding connecting member at the housing.
