The holster carries a handgun (1) against the body. It has a pocket (2) for handgun, and a safety loop (4) on the pocket, fitting round the handgun in the closed position and freeing it for use in the open position. When the safety loop is turned from open to closed position, the locking element of the operating mechanism automatically locks it in this position.
