FIELD: agricultural engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed potato digger contains digging working member with beater, system of feeding conveyors, cleaning, separating, and sorting out unit and haulm separator. Sorting out unit is made of cylindrical spiral installed and provided with different length of pitch between turns on different sections over length of spiral. Cleaning unit beaters in form of rods made of flexibly elastic material are secured to inner side of sorting out unit. Separating unit in form of comb made of rods is arranged under sorting out unit. Distance between rods is less than length of pitch between turns of sorting out unit. Containers for small-size, medium-size and large-size potatoes are arranged from side of separating unit. ^ EFFECT: improved functional capabilities. |
