<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To call attention to printing image quality, before printing, in the case that printing may cause deterioration in the image quality is foreseen when the size of a printing sheet is selected, because the printed image quality of an image is not satisfied, even though the image appears satisfactorily beautiful on a monitor, in a monitor-integrated image apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A digital camera 100 is used as an imaging apparatus in a camera that is connected directly to a printer 200 to enable printing. The camera 100 is provided with an image selecting means for selecting images stored in the camera, a size designating means for designating a print size, and a pixel number comparing means for comparing the number of pixels of the selected image with the proper number of pixels of the set print size to determine whether the image can be properly printed and notifying the result of determination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
