PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lamp lighting system which can cool a lamp without depending on a fan. SOLUTION: In a lamp comprising an external electrode, thermal transfer equipment which is constructed from a plurality of layers and can induce heat transfer by applying a voltage between the layers is placed at an electrode portion, the layer of the thermal transfer equipment and the electrode of the lamp are made identical to form the lamp and the thermal transfer equipment into an integral structure, and thus the surface of the lamp can be cooled without adding an excessive apparatus.
