PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with an LCD panel unit in a desired direction of which sound is outputted. SOLUTION: The camera is provided with a camera body and the LCD panel unit 12. The LCD panel unit 12 is fitted to the camera body by a hinge unit 13 in an openable/closable way. The LCD panel unit 12 is provided with a liquid crystal panel 56. A speaker unit 81 is arranged to one side (a side the same as an image display side) of the LCD panel unit 12. A microphone unit 101 is arranged to the other side (a side opposite to the image display side) of the LCD panel unit 12. A circuit board 57 including a sound circuit is contained inside the LCD panel unit 12.
