PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly of a plasma display device having an improved structure capable of stable heat radiation in a signal transmitting member. SOLUTION: In order to increase heat radiation ability of an assembly of a plasma display device, the assembly is equipped with a PDP (plasma display panel) 56, a chassis base disposed in the back of the PDP 56 and supporting the PDP 56, a driving circuit board 61 disposed in the back of the chassis base 52 and having a circuit to drive the PDP 56, a signal transmitting member 65 one end of which is connected to the driving circuit board 61 and the other end of which is connected to the PDP 56 so as to transmit electric signals from the driving circuit board 61 to the PDP 56, and further having an electronic device 44, a protective cover plate 40 disposed to partially or entirely cover the signal transmitting member 65 mounting the electronic element 44, and a heat pipe 45 disposed to transmit heat generated from the electronic element 44 to the protective cover plate 40.
