PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate injection and takeout of a liquid from each well in a micro-well plate having a minute well capacity. SOLUTION: Each well 4 is provided with an electrode 6 covered with a dielectric layer 10 and an electrode 8 exposed to the well surface. When a sample is injected, a voltage is applied across the electrodes 6 and 8 to hydrophilize the surface of the dielectric layer 10 and improve wettability relatively to the sample 18. When the sample is discharged, the voltage across the electrodes 6 and 8 is cut off to deteriorate the wettability by hydrophobicity of the dielectric layer 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
