SOLUTION: In this thermoacoustic device 1 provided with a first stack 3a sandwiched by a first high temperature side heat exchanger 4 and a first low temperature side heat exchanger 5 and a second stack 3b sandwiched by a second high temperature side heat exchanger 6 and a second low temperature side heat exchanger 7 in a loop pipe 2 to generate a standing wave and a progressive wave by self-excitation by heating the first high temperature side heat exchanger 4 and cool the second low temperature side heat exchanger 7 by the standing wave and the progressive wave, a piezoelectric film 81, a sound wave generator 82, and a Helmholtz resonator 83 for reducing direct-current flow of working fluid such as acoustic flow and convection are provided as a heat transfer reducing means 80 for reducing transfer of heat toward a second stack 3b side from the first stack 3a.
