The separator plate has a structure made up of slots for guiding the fluid of reaction material from an inlet port to an outlet port. The slots have an incomplete coating of hydrophobic material at their surfaces whereby the coating is not successional and is formed in punctiform manner. An independent claim is also included for the use of separator plate.
