The cleaning device for agitating tools has an outer container (1) for the vertical holding of the agitating tool, and at least one brush element (6) installed on the inside wall of the container and the bristles (9) of which point inside the container. At least the bottom section of the container is conically formed up to a height corresponding to a third of the height of the container. The brush element is installed parallel to the bottom (8) of the container. The brush element may be in ring form, encompassing the whole inside diameter of the container without breaks.
