<p>An apparatus and process for laying a fleece are such that the web (7) is fed on both sides only in straight-running sections of the curved feed zone of the laying bands (5,6), the apparatus being of the type with relatively movable carriages (2,3) and several laying bands (5,6) between which web (7) is taken up in a curved feed zone (27) and at least sectionwise fed on both sides or masked, the apparatus having on one side a zone for the uptake with a band inlet (4) of the laying bands (5,6) with a downwardly inclined inlet stretch (9) and, between the main carriages (2,3), a further zone (41) with band sections (10,11) running close to each other over deflector rolls and leading and masking web (7).</p> |
