The invention pertains to the area of pharmaceutical compositions that are useful for treating pathologies resulting from a deregulation of the angiogenesis mechanism. The invention particularly concerns new genes whose function had not been identified before now as well as genes that are known but whose involvement in the angiogenesis mechanism has been shown for the first time.
