<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance security property in fingerprint authentication. <P>SOLUTION: A fingerprint authentication part 46 authenticates a fingerprint inputted based on an input instruction in a state where a fingerprint authentication mode is set, unlocks locking with success of authentication, instructs re-input of the fingerprint when the authentication is unsuccessful, decides illegal use and switches to a password code authentication mode when fingerprint authentication is not successful continuously a prescribed number of times. A password code authentication part 50 authenticates a password code inputted based on an input instruction in the state of a password code authentication mode, unlocks locking with success of authentication, instructs re-input of the password code when the authentication is unsuccessful, decides illegal use and cuts a power source when authentication is not successful prescribed number of times. Moreover, when the power source is supplied again after cutting off the power source by the password code authentication part 50, the fingerprint authentication part 46 is set in the fingerprint authentication mode and keeps the fingerprint authentication mode even when fingerprint authentication is not successful continuously a prescribed number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
